HAAAI-HAI-HAI GUYZ. Guess what Ghibli Movie I'm fresh from?

It's the most actiony anime trailer I've ever seen... but you have to go, like, 1:13 into it for the action.
Anyways, I shall begin with my opinion on the dub. I've seen only from that of the trailer and the majority of the movie in it, and quite frankly I think it's the worst anime movie dub I have ever heard. I like Akistia--however his name is spelled--but everyone else is kind of... bleh. Espically San. In the dub she sounds kind of like a stuck-up beyotch compared to the subs where she's all super-mega-awesome badassy and stuff.
Now then, for my official opinion on the movie...

This was by far the best Ghibli I've ever seen. It wasn't my favorite--(though it's moved up to second, placing Howl's Moving Castle in third)--but it is definately the best. I absolutely LOVED San. She is the coolest Miyazaki heroine ever! I loved her strong-willed personality and fighting spirit. I truely understood her passion to protect the forest. However, the thing I really loved about the movie was how it was played out so Eboshi wasn't really potentially 'evil' as some people might describe her as. See, I originally thought the story would be a nature VS technology sort of thing, but it wasn't. In all honesty, it was difference of opinions. San wants to protect the forest and preseve nature while Eboshi merely wants what's right for her people. That is something I thought made Mononoke better than most other Miyazaki's.
However, some parts of the movie freaked me out since's I am a pansy and scardy cat. At the very beginning where the boar guy gets shot down by Akishtia-whoever, and then he says "You shall soon feel my pain," and his body kind of... melts? That really freaked me out. It was disgusting. But towards the end where San is leading the big white boar guy to the Deer God's spring got me a little on edge, too. What happens is the ranger guys working with Eboshi and Jigo... I think his name was... dress up as the white boars warriors. Then the white boar goes spazzo and runs a little then stops. San's trying to calm him down, and while she's doing that, the guys dressed as boars come up to the white boar and... I don't exactly know what they do, but it shows them, then the camera cuts to San, where the giant white boar is literally hurling up blood like a river! That was gross.
Anyway, Mononoke was amazing. The Deer God creeped me out a bit, but it was amazing. I loved everything about it. The story, character development, action, everything. If you haven't already seen it, definitely watch it. It's one of Ghibli's best.
Don't watch the dub, though. I don't think it's very good. :/
